Natural stone "Bali Green" Bressia with Old Castle

 There is a stone named Bali Green that is often heard in Bali.

The color of that stone is Moss Green, which is actually brownish even though it is named Green. The color of this stones are changing from moss green to brown when it is exposed to sunlight.

Bali green is slightly similar texture to the popular stone " Kerobokan".
But the reason why it's not so well-known as a building material is as time goes by, the color changes from moss green to brown too dramatically.

 

Bali Green are used for stone statue materials for exterior. There are some popular stone statues include statues of Buddha, Ganesha, a goddess with a barrel, etc. 
Sculptures of the Asian atmosphere are popular in Europe and the United States.

Even though it's named Bali Green, the production area is in the mountains of Central Java.

These Bali Green stones has been bought by French Customers and was going to use at restoration of old castle project.

Many valuable historic buildings and works of art in French such as Castle, are made by the stone that has similar shade and texture to Bali Green especially when its color are changing into brown.


That is why they are looking for Bali Green Stone for their conservation and restoration project in French and other country in Europe. And it is an honor for us to be participated even a bit in restoring valuable historic buildings and works of art project. 

Block stones actually are not exportable but are allowed under some conditions such as are subjected to cutting and other processing.

New Sign Boad HORAS !

More than half a year has passed since I moved Horas Indonesia's office to Ungasan from Kuta 's Majapahit Street.

I was indecisive as to where I should put the signboard and how to design it.
Then time has gone by and on.....

The design was decided at last, ordered materials and construction.

HORAS logo with white paint is clearly emerging on the background with walls randomly arranged with Candy Stone's black and red.
Candy stone has acrylic coating.

Although it located just behind the famous Tourist Spot GWK, people sometimes find a difficult to find us. That's why I decided to installed a signboard at the intersection of Jl.Merak I and Jl. Pemukiman.

Since that, people more easy to find us and the road also became bright at night with this!

Luxury Resort Villas Construction

Jimbaran area is a one of the Most luxury resort area in Bali.

On Sunny days, you can over look the island of Java, Bali mountains  and Kuta airport from the Jimbaran hills.

Starting basic construction work is going, and our company PT.HORAS INDONESIA has got orders for installation limestone wall around the main gate!

 Since the Japanese general contractors are especially ensure safety, 
even in Indonesia, as well as the Japan must be worn helmet and shoes! 

In Indonesia, most of the workers performing the work at the beach sandals with a small construction site.

To ensure safety, even little by little in our company, we will continue to tell them to wear a helmet and shoes to the workers.

The Doll's house, finally complated.

Doll's House, 

The concept design has worked by owner's.

our construction works had started from last year, was finally completed!

I call this house  as " The Doll's house", because of the design like used in the puppet show!

This nickname not used by the owner. . .

Upon started project, it was scheduled to put a ceiling,

But suddenly had changed to exposed ceiling!

Put a fluorescent orange pendant lamp as an accent in white interior.

Use the 5-colors of the roof tiles, The Alcove surrounded terrace.  
It is unique atmosphere.

On the first floor of the main building,  

there are dining room and kitchen, the owner of the atelier.
 
It's used  the classic cement tile with colonial style lovers.














If you go up stairs of the main building, you will be presented with spacious of rice terrace landscape that u can see from the second floor large terrace windows 

The second floor in the living room the ceiling was exposed and there is a loft. Not huge but just a small space but feel spacious and open space.

The Dolls House

We are starting construction from May this year for private house in Ubud. 

The Owner, the famous Accessory designer, so have attention to Design.

We stuck pretty hard to designing.

Green stone

The one of the most famous Natural Stone, being used well in a pool at hotel and villa in Bali, 

is the GREEN STONE SUKABUMI. 

Because the mining of the Green stone in the part of West Java,

near by Sukabumi-City, 

So people call the stone "Green Sukabumi". 

The Pool of Ann living & ESTATE Villa in Ungasan, also use Green Sukabumi in a private pool.

Starting Vacation of Idul Fitri

Most people in Indonesia are Muslims.

Even in Bali where Hindus account for the majority,  

the influence is still strong, because many workers are from Java Island.

Vacation of Idul Fitri will be a homecoming for everyone. Time for them to go home.

This year, Idul Fitri is scheduled for July 28th.

I take to prepare for homecoming from one week before the holiday roughly.

Start of homecoming rush was the 21st this year.
   
Without congestion, in Bali, it is quiet today.

The workers are using this vacation to go home to meet and gathering with their beloved family. 

Site will become busy again at 10th of August.

Bunkirai is a high-quality wood,
